Safety is first in each of our recreation facilities located throughout the city.
With each employee, child, and visitor all safety tips and procedures are strongly enforced.
Neighborhood involvement is important and needed. Your concern, communication and ideas make a positive impact.
Year round safety starts with our centers. This is accomplished by checking doors,
Fire extinguishers, exit signs, indoor/ outdoor lights, emergency lights, alarm systems, emergency evacuation procedures, staff identification policy, picture ID badges, seasonal help, staff T- shirts, first aid equipment training, CPR training, emergency first aid kits, and blood caution procedures. Year round department safety presentations includes guest speakers from the city/state and organizations that supply information on safety info and tips.
Pool Safety is a must especially in the summer; chlorine levels for all pools are checked, along with water park equipment, first aid kits, Lifeguard staff, seasonal help and night watchman for the pools. We also have a commitment for community safety.
S/D NON-SMOKING FACILITIES/LUNCH SITES
