Free Drop-Off Days for Old Recycling Totes, Mattresses, and E-Waste

The Providence Department of Public Works invites you to the free community drop off days for old recycling totes, mattresses and e-waste.

Residents can bring old tvs, computers, printers, microwaves, stereos, keyboards, and even old recycling totes to be recycled.

Place: Juanita Sanchez Educational Complex

Date: December 29, 2012
Time: 8:00-2:00pm

Place: Bucklin Park
109 Bucklin Street
Date: January 19, 2013
Time: 8:00am until 2:00pm

Residents are also invited to drop off old recycling totes at the Department of Public Works at 700 Allens Avenue during regular business hours: Monday through Friday 8:30am-4:30pm as well as on Thursdays 3:00-7:00pm and Saturdays 7:00am-1:00pm.

With the new recycling program getting started across the city, residents who have already received their new gray trash cart may return their old blue and green recycling totes if they don't want to keep them.
