Welcome to Transit Providence, a service provided by the City of Providence and designed to make the City's government and public resources more accessible through public transportation. Transit Providence provides residents and visitors with the fastest RIPTA routes to destinations such as City Hall, Providence Community Health Centers, the Providence Performing Arts Center, neighborhood parks and branches of the Providence Public Library.All government locations and many other destinations are conveniently located directly on RIPTA bus lines.
